SPSS SPSS is most commonly known to marketers as a menu-driven, interactive statistical software package. GVU's WWW User Surveys GVU’s WWW User Surveys is a site to access the results of a series of Web based surveys of Internet users. There is a wealth of information here, in a variety of forms. Both raw data on Internet purchasing (and other forms of consumer behavior) can be found as well as some analytical reports. While most respondents are from the United States, there is some useful data on International Internet users. Check out the methodology section for insights on how to conduct a Web based survey.
Zona Research Zona Research provides Internet marketing research to clients. Read through this site to see what issues and services are currently popular in this industry. This is a for-profit site, but there are some good free samples.
Ipos-ASI Interactive Ipsos-ASI bills itself as “The .com advertising research company” and says its mission is to be the world leader in advertising research. The free demos are good introductions to topics such as online copy testing, online tracking and online surveying.
WebCMO WebCMO is an Internet marketing research site that says it is “not here to sell statistics, but to provide web marketers with marketing solutions.” The Research section covers research topics and techniques, the Freeware section includes free software and the Forum section is a discussion board on new research topics and web marketing strategy and research.
SurveySite SurveySite provides online market research, Web site evaluation and e-commerce (shopping cart) analysis. This is the company that developed “pop-up” surveys which selects Web site visitors at random and pops up a small window asking if they want to participate in an online survey. The site contains a number of enlightening demos on Web surveys and on-line focus groups.

Adweek Online AdweekOnline provides news and information in the fields of advertising, marketing and meia. Its publication IQ News offers weekly updates of new media and Internet marketing, with daily web site updates. The discussion boards cover a variety of interactive advertising issues. Online forums on Internet marketing are held regularly.
Financial Times Online FT.com is the online version of the venerable Financial Times. Even more impressive than its authoritative, in-depth and global reporting on business (and especially e-business) news is the fact that everything here is free, unlike many of its competitors who require a subscription.This is a massive resource.
The Economist Few journals have done as well tracking the development of e-commerce across the globe as The Economist. The Archive and Library found at its online presence are priceless collections of Internet marketing, strategies and case studies. A regular feature is the ongoing survey of e-commerce (free!).
TheStandard.com The online version of The Industry Standard promises to be your source for "Intelligence on the Internet Economy™". Their audience is Internet business strategists. This is as close to a "one-stop" site for Internet marketers as currently exists. It's all here and it's all good. The Special Reports and Metrics sections are invaluable.
[INSIDE] [Inside] covers the entertainment side of ecommerce focusing on TV, film, music, media and books. Basically a subscription site, but with lots of freebies.
eCompany NOW eCompany is a trade magazine focused on how the Web is changing business. eCompany NOW is its online presence. Most of the content appearing in the print magazine is available here online and it is augmented with Web links and discussion boards. The Guide section is a very comprehensive, frequently updated directory of links about e-business subjects.

CommerceNet CommerceNet is a global non-profit membership organization created by and for companies doing electronic commerce – both business-to-business and business-to-consumer. One of their objectives is to provide insight into the next generation of electronic commerce applications, strategies and business models.
American Marketing Association The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the world’s largest professional society of marketers. Web casts on topics of interest to Internet marketers can frequently be found at this site.
Association of National Advertisers, Inc. This site, from the Association of National Advertisers, Inc., contains some great benchmarking studies on a number of key Internet marketing subjects. Its annual survey on Web Site Management and Internet Advertising is an important industry benchmark.

nano nano is a combination search engine / buying agent. Whenever you’re reading something on the Web that you want to know more about, you can activate nano and it “understands” the “idea” being presented.
